FAQs about using Dropbox
Unsure what Dropbox is and how to use it to download the files? See our answers to the frequently asked questions below.
1. What is Dropbox?
Dropbox is a file-hosting service operated by the American Company, Dropbox Inc. Please note that Talk in French is not affiliated with the company, Dropbox in any way, neither do we benefit monetarily by using this service. However, we have selected to use the service primarily for the convenience of storing and saving files and easy access anywhere, using any type of device.
2. Do I need to have a Dropbox account to access the MP3 files?
You don’t need one. When you click the link we provided above, you will be sent directly to the files and you will have an option to download the files without signing in.
However, if you have an existing Dropbox account or you wish to signup, you will have an extra option to save the files into your own Dropbox where you can conveniently access it in all your devices that you have linked to Dropbox (for example, your computer, your tablet, and your smartphones) without having to download the files all over again.
3. Do I have to pay to use Dropbox?
No. If you simply wish to download the files using the link we provided, you may do so even without a Dropbox account. But if you want to use the Dropbox service, the Basic plan is free and comes with 2GB free space.
4. Does Dropbox work on my phone?
Yes, Dropbox works on all smartphones including Android, iPhone, iPad, and Windows Mobile. It also works on your desktop computer, your laptop, or tablet.
5. What if I can’t understand how Dropbox works? Can I still access the audio files?
Yes, it’s the reason why we provided a backup link (see Method 2 above). You may directly proceed to this download method without going through Dropbox.
6. But what if I still cannot access the audio files despite trying both download methods?
If you still could not access the files, please fill-out the form we provided above with your questions and concerns, and describe the problem as completely as you can. We will try our best to get back to you as soon as possible.
